Memorial Weekend

For our Memorial weekend we spent Friday through Sunday in Milford, and then went to a BBQ at Uncle Tom’s on Monday.  Uncle Tom, Aunt Elaine, Josie and Gning-Gning all went to Milford with us.  Our plan was to go up the Beaver Mountains on Saturday and do some fishing, and just relax the rest of the weekend.

Johnny took Josie and Brooklyn for rides around the block on the 4-Wheeler.  They both loved it!  Much better than Brooklyn’s last try on a 4-Wheeler, she was scared to death.  This time she didn’t want to get off.

On Saturday we piled in our vehicles to go up the mountains to do some fishing.  We stopped at the lowest lake, Little Res and it was crazy busy, so we headed further up the mountain.  One lake was still frozen over with snow all around it, feet of snow.  One had a road still closed so we couldn’t get to to it, and there might have been more, but I can’t remember.  It was a beautiful drive, but not so fun for a 2-year old who was ready for fishing as soon as we got in the car.  We headed back down the mountain to try fishing by the fairgrounds.  There was a fun play area for the girls.

Okay, so it wasn’t juts fun for the girls, everyone had some fun at the playground.  Even though we didn’t really get to fish, it was fun spending time together and getting to see the beautiful Beaver Mountains.

Josie was so cute and wanted to make sure Brooklyn’s feet were warm, she put her socks back on her feet, too funny!IMG_0732

As we were getting ready to leave the girls thought it would be fun to play on our bed.  They are both a little enthralled with the bunk bed idea.  They bounced, climbed, jumped, bumped heads on the top bunk, and had lots of fun together.

We stopped in Scipio again to see the petting Zoo.  it was windy and cold and busy, but we still had fun with the animals.IMG_0766IMG_0775IMG_0776IMG_0777IMG_0781IMG_0784
