Trip to the Zoo

We decided to get a pass to the Zoo this year because Brooklyn loves animals.  Mommy and Brooklyn went to go pick up our passes and spend a couple of hours there to see what our zoo was like (it’s been years and years since Mommy has been there).  We didn’t see a lot, but we did ride the train and carousel and see a lot of the dinosaurs that they have there this year (which is what Brooklyn wanted to see on this trip).

The dinosaurs were amazing.  They really moved and made sounds and everything.

Mommy also learned that is is nearly impossible to get good smiling pictures when you are the only one with your child at the zoo.  Mommy was scared that someone would run off with Brooklyn if she got too far away (crazy I know).

Brooklyn was a little too scared to put her head into the lions mouth to get a drink from the fountain.

On the carousel Brooklyn rode on an elephant.

Brooklyn didn’t want to get off the train.  If we could have she would have stayed on it all day long.

We can’t wait to go again, this time with other people so we can get some smiles in our pictures and enjoy the animals, rides, and other attractions with our friends and family.
