Just wanted to post some of the latest and gratest of Brooklyn!
Trying on the new swimming suit Brooklyn picked out.
Brooklyn is not a fan of wearing hats, but I found this cute mittin and hat combo that she loved! Mostly the mittins, but still, this is a huge step for us!
I know this isnt' the best picture, but it is on here for a reason. We were almost able to put all of Brooklyn's hair in pig tails, not just the top part. You can't see it very well (thanks to Brooklyn not standing still), but if you look close you can see that her back hair is up!
Sometimes I feel like every time we move forward, we move right on back. First it was the bouncer. Brooklyn found one at Cousin Josie's and discovered that it makes a perfect chair for a toddler. Now it's the jumper. She had a blast in Cousin Josies, so we pulled Brooklyn's back out, and she loves to jump around again. She doesn't like to stay in for very long (she can't get in and out on her own), but she does like to play in there for a while.
Mommy is itching to get the summer clothes out for Brooklyn. On one nice day we dressed her in some shorts. It was so funny to see Brooklyn's face when she realized that her pants only went to her knees. She looked at me like I was crazy. Then she touched her knees, looked at me again, and then wanted to run while she could with her short pants on.
Brooklyn still loves her puppy Jasmine. She loves to give her hugs and kisses all the time. Lots more than she gives Mommy and Daddy.
We had pictures taken last Saturday, unfortunately Brooklyn was sick and not in the mood to smile much for her 18-month pics, but Mommy has even worse luck when she tries to reschedule, so here are some of the pics that turned out okay.
