Yesterday was the beginning of a three day snow storm for us. It really didn't start snowing until after we went to bed, but oh did it snow all night long! We awoke to about 5 inches of snow. Brooklyn and Jasmine could barely wait to get out and play in it. Jasmine loves jumping in the snow, digging her nose into it and looking for lost treasures. Today her lost treasures were the left over walnuts from our now gone tree. Brooklyn discovered that snow is ice. She loves to munch on ice when we let her, so this was pure heaven for her. It was hard for me to let her eat the snow (I've melted it and seen what's in it too many times), but she had so much fun doing it. She had a really hard time keeping her gloves on, I guess it's time to buy some that the snow doesn't stick to. It's still snowing outside right now, we'll see if it keeps up for the next few days. Hopefully we'll brave the snow again and help Brooklyn make her first snowman! Happy winter season everyone!
