On Thursday we drove out to visit Uncle Bob's brother, Michael, and his wife, Kaye at their gorgeous house and HUGE backyard. So big in fact, there is a large pond in the back. Thank you Michael and Kaye for the yummy food, and nice break from downtown Chicago.

Daddy caught a catfish in the pond! Lewis followed everyone who caught a fish.
Susie...Uncle Sam's dog. Unfortunately this is the only picture I got on my camera, I'll have to beg other people for better pictures. Susie is still in the puppy stage of life. Brooklyn loved playing with Susie too.
After playing on the beach by the pond we had one sandy little girl. We tried Aunt Karen's secret to getting sand off, and it worked like magic! If you don't already know this, take some baby powder to the beach with you and the sand comes off just like magic.

This cool fountain for kids to play in at Millennium Park. If you look closely you can see a face on the wall there with the water coming out of the person's mouth.

If you look closely you can see a gorilla behind Brooklyn. It was just on the other side of the wall in the enclosure. The gorillas were very active and so much fun to watch. I think we spent an hour or two just watching them.

Yes, there really are people directing traffic, thank goodness. Chicago drivers have NO patience. If you don't go the second the light turns green you are honked at. I'll never get used to that. Crazy Chicago drivers!

yes we got alott of this done and visited in just 5 days. I would have to say one of the many highlights that made the trip was fishing in a family's friend back yard. It was awsome experince to fish in a dream pond on a 4 acer yard and catch 3 big catfish and lose a huge unknow fish that broke my 10 lb test line. And to see Tony, and the Power house team of Tom and Elain all just nail the fish...I just have to say it makes me smile to have fished and to know that someone have a real piece of heaven makes me happy. I think I just had a man moment. haha
