Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! We were hoping that Brooklyn would be a little more interested in opening presents this year, but she's still not sure of them. Jasmine had no problems helping to open presents though. Who would have thought that a dog would enjoy opening presents?

This year on Christmas Eve we went to Johnny's sister's (Karen) house to have some yummy goodies and decorate cookies, play with cousin Josie, open a few presents and just have fun!

Twinners! Josie and Brooklyn in their matching PJs.

On Christmas Day Brooklyn woke everyone up at about 8:00 (usually Mommy can't sleep on Christmas Eve...guess having a 1-year-old tuckered her out this year). We all headed out to the living room to see if Santa had visited us, and what to our wondering eyes should appear? A miniature tent an activity table! Brooklyn LOVES her tent. She likes to rub/scratch her fingers on the sides of it. She eventually got around to looking at her activity table, and likes it too. It will help her learn colors, letters, opposites, and a bunch of other stuff that I can't think of. I think she just likes that it plays music.

Although she wasn't interested in opening presents, she did like playing with some of them after they were opened for her. She was seen dragging an outfit around after it was opened, and patting and singing her new bath-tub doll to sleep (thank you Grandma and pa Kennedy!).

Rocking her baby.

Admiring her new shirt from Aunties Sitara and Aniesha.

Reading her new book from Mommy and Daddy.

Loving her new tent from Santa!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas like we did!
