Happy Halloween!

Although this is technically Brooklyn's second Halloween, it was the first time she got to participate. When we found out that there was some trick-or-treating to be done from 3:00 to 5:00 on Main Street, we had to go. It was the middle of day, the sun was out, perfect weather for a 1-year-old to do her first trick-or-treating. We were some of the first people there (thought maybe it had been canceled or something), but before we knew it there was a line at every business who was handing out candy. We found some fun new stores to go back and look at, and saw some of the most adorable costumes (I even saw a strawberry shortcake and rainbow bright costumes!!), and we were back at the house in time to make dinner and wait for our own trick-or-treaters. Most popular costumes this year in our neighborhood: superheros, princesses, and believe it or not, Michael Jackson. I let Brooklyn answer the door with me for our first trick-or-treaters, after that, she was hooked. She kept getting mad when no one would come to the door for her to see, it was pretty funny, well until it got annoying. I totally spaced getting Jasmine all dressed up this year, but Johnny found a quick little something for her to wear today too.

Hope everyone else had a fabulous Halloween too!

Brooklyn sad to see her pumpkin's insides.
