Slumber Party!!

Tonight was Brooklyn’s 3rd slumber party at her house.  Her first was with Josie and her second one was with Cousin Zoe (didn’t post any pics from that one, sorry) and tonight, we got to have Josie come back!  Brooklyn was excited all week long.  Every morning she’d ask me if this was Friday yet.  We would go look at the calendar and mark off another day, until today.  Yeah, Josie finally came to our house!

Because we did all the “normal” things you do at a slumber party with her first one, we did something different today. Mommy/Aunt Jen’s evil plan, I mean slumber party theme, was outdoor fun.  Wear them out and they’ll go to sleep faster was the motto of the day.  It was beautiful outside and Brooklyn has been begging to plant something for weeks, so we planted a few strawberry plants.

They were so helpful and so proud of the strawberry plants we planted today! 

After doing our gardening we headed to the backyard for some more outdoor fun.

then some soccer and playing fetch with Jasmine.

The outside made Mommy tired too so we decided to head inside to relax for a little while.

We watch a Ni Hao Kailan episode, played some princess dominos and destroyed, I mean, had all sorts of fun in Brooklyn’s room.  There are no pictures of the room so there is no proof of how messy it got.

For dinner #1 we headed to the park for a little picnic and some more outdoor fun.

Then it was time to climb the “mountain” in the park.and then proceed to roll down it…

and start all over again.They had so much fun playing at the park and going for a little ride in the wagon.

After dinner #2 of pizza and breadsticks it was bath time with Daddy while Mommy cleaned up Brooklyn’s room so we had space for two beds.  Then a little more play time, teeth brushing, prayer and time for bed.

Mommy stayed in the room until both girls fell asleep.  If anyone is interested, the girls were in bed by 8:40 and out by 9:00.  Yeah Mommy!! 

Can’t wait for tomorrow, we have lots of plans, but we’ll see what the weather brings us!
