We found out some happy news for our family on Memorial Day.
We are having a baby, due in January.
Every since we found out about baby, Brooklyn has been saying that she already has a little brother and she needs a little sister. Well we took a new test called a cell free DNA test which will tell you the sex of the baby after your first trimester.
Here is how I told Daddy and Brooklyn what we were having.

Congrats! I'm glad Brooklyn is getting the little sister she wants!
Such great news and love how you shared with the rest of the family. We had that special genetic testing done early, too. It was sort of surreal to know the sex of our baby so far in advance. Our 2nd is a January baby - it's nice to have something to look forward to after Christmas is over. Difficult for shopping for gifts, though. Enjoy! And a hearty congratulations.
