Happy 1st Birthday Lucas…

Today was Lucas’ first birthday.  One year ago today we got to see our beautiful tiny angel, and say hello and goodbye at the same time.  Here is how we spent the day celebrating for “Baby Lucas”.

We took some presents to the cemetery

A little bear from Daddy, caterpillar from Big Sis

And balloon from Mommy.We also sent a balloon from each of us up to heaven.

We decorated his Christmas tree with cars this year.  We’ll take it to the cemetery the weekend before Christmas.

From home tonight we sent off three Chinese lanterns as well.In this picture the two brightest stars are the first two lanterns we sent up in the sky.  We stayed outside until they all disappeared.Then it was time for the birthday song and some birthday cake!  Brooklyn & Daddy blew out the candle.

Happy birthday Lucas!  We love and miss you every day sweet angel of ours.
