Brook started to get a little rash a few weeks ago so we took her to the doc and they told us it was probably just a mild case of heat rash/baby acne/excema (it was just on her face and neck). After re-washing all of her clothes in the fragrance free/dye free soap, not using baby lotion, and no more baby wash it got worse. The rash was all over her body within a week, so we went back to the doc. This time we were told she has excema, and the rash might not go away any time soon. So beyond the other stuff, no more baths every night, only every-other night. The rash is still there, but doesn't look as bad as it did before. I'm hoping Brooklyn isn't stuck with super sensitive skin for the rest of her life, that would just suck!
We finally had the baby shower that was canceled due to Brooklyn coming early (this one was for Jen's dad's side). It was fabulous to see everyone, it's been years since I've seen some of my family on that side. Thank you everyone for coming!!
Anyways, other than that things are much the same at our house. Daddy leaves for work by 5:30, Mommy does by 8:30, Daddy's home by 2:30 and Mommy by 3:30. Grandma Yee gets to play with Brooklyn while we are gone to work. Brooklyn is starting to be awake more, and likes to be talked to...and trys to talk with you. It mostly still comes out as grunts, aahhhs, and a coo here and there. We get lots of smiles now every day!
Basically other than having to leave Brook while at work life is pretty darn good!
